Cecil County Parks & Rec is in need of volunteers to help plant small shrubs and plants around the Bio Retention ponds at the new Calvert Regional Park site. Lots of hands are needed ... we will be planting 50,000 plants and shrubs on Saturday October 10th from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (or until we finish).
The following shifts are available:
8:00 am to Noon
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Noon to 4:00 pm
Calvert Regional Park is located at 211 Brick Meeting House Road in North East Maryland.
Call Cindy Cantor at 443-309-4229 for more information or to sign up for a shift. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring a small hand trowel and wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors.
