We are looking for a group of volunteers to help us put a fresh coat of paint on the cinder block exterior of the building that houses the Elkton Colored School. Our Board of Directors has been applying for grant funding to address structural needs and restore this historic school. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the incredible story of the Elkton Colored School and its critical place in the educational history of Cecil County. Materials will be provided for us to paint side by side with the goal of covering the exterior of the Elkton Colored School portion of the building. Water and lunch will be provided as we paint and fellowship together. We hope you will join us!
