55VLP is a 5-week volunteer exploration experience for adults ages 55 and older. Coordinated by the Cecil County Department of Community Services (an AmeriCorps Seniors grantee), 55VLP offers participants the opportunity to: learn about community resources and challenges; discover how volunteers, including AmeriCorps Seniors, are responding to local needs, and determine ways YOU can respond and make a difference.
Weekly sessions begin Friday, May 12, 2023, and end June 16, 2023. Sessions start at 9:00 AM and run until noon and are held in a variety of locations. A tentative schedule is listed below:

5/19/23: Lingering Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Older Adults, Children, and Youth
