The Cecil County 4-H Youth Development program is in need of adult volunteers to work with youth ages 5-18. Volunteers serve in a variety of roles including 4-H club leaders, project volunteers and/or activity volunteers. Volunteers help to provide leadership for youth involved in a specific 4-H project area or 4-H related activity or club. Volunteers teach or coordinate others in the instruction of projects, activities and related educational opportunities and guidance to youth through group or individual programs.
Additional training is required in order to become a University of Maryland Extension-4-H Volunteer.
