Cecil Cares 2021 - Countywide Day of Service

Cecil Cares, an annual countywide day of service, is scheduled for Saturday, October 2nd. And now’s the time to start dreaming and scheming about your project! We invite local organizations (nonprofits, faith-based and service organizations, government agencies) to create, coordinate and manage a hands-on service project. Some examples of projects might be: a food drive for local food pantries, tackling a beautification project, sprucing up a park or playground. Families and students LOVE to participate so if your organization is able to offer a “family-friendly” project OR design a project specifically for children and/or youth, please do! As noted in the project application form, if COVID restrictions are still in place, we will adhere to all safety protocols.
Interested in coordinating a project? Please complete and return the attached Cecil Cares Project Application by 8/13/21. Once your project is submitted and reviewed, a member of the Cecil Cares Planning Team will contact you with additional information.
