Do you have diabetes or another chronic condition? Do you suffer with chronic pain? The Living Well Self-Management Programs give you important information about your health conditions and teach you skills to better manage them.
Classes meet for six weeks and participants receive a free manual. Participants will learn self-management skills including: Techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation; appropriate exercises; more about the pain and symptom cycle and successful ways of dealing with difficult emotions; appropriate use of medications and how to work with your health care team. Caregivers and/or family members are welcome to attend.
First session starts Monday, August 29th from 10:00am - 12:00pm. We'll meet same time and location each Monday then after (we will not meet Monday, September 5th) until our last session on Monday, October 10th. Please join us!
