Getting There Ride Share

Getting there Ride Share (GTRS) is an outreach program of the Wilson Ministry Center, in Darlington, Maryland. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for senior residents that may not have transportation means. We provide an affordable and reliable transportation service utilizing community volunteers and resources. We service seniors that live in the Northern part of Harford County and parts of Western Cecil County.  Getting There Ride Share is a member of the Cecil/Harford Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and is supported by the state MTA Senior Program grant, and the Harford County Department of Community Services.

Getting There Ride Share provides needed transportation to Harford/Cecil County's elderly residents that live in the northern part of Harford County and western part of Cecil Couny where public transportation is limited.  Our goal is to increase connections, erase isolation and improve the quality of life for seniors that do not have an affordable transportation option.  Getting There Ride Share is a door to door service.  Our volunteer drivers use their own insured vehicles, and volunteer only for rides that fit in their schedule. Mileage reimbursement and additional liability insurance is also available.
