The Cecil County Animal Shelter is committed to providing quality care and innovative services to animals in Cecil County by preserving and promoting the human/animal bond and protecting animals from abuse and neglect while ensuring thoughtful consideration is given to the best interest and needs of the community. This is accomplished through open communication, public awareness, partnership-building, transparency and, most importantly, humane treatment of the animals being cared for at the Shelter.

CCAS provides its volunteers with an orientation, training, supervision, staff support, work space and the materials deemed reasonably necessary to enable its volunteers to perform their voluntarily donated services.
