What We Do
The goal of the Maryland Rural Development Corporation (MRDC) Family Education Center is to strengthen and empower families to lead productive, self-sufficient lives and to raise healthy, well-rounded children who enter school with the readiness skills needed to succeed. The Family Education Center is a Maryland state-licensed child care facility. The center is a safe, nurturing environment with degreed teachers, and excellent child/teacher ratios to promote individualized learning. The Center is a Judy Center partner in providing children and families with comprehensive services.
