CHEP Outpost

We are Retail for Real Change, a secondhand store dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. 100% of proceeds from the CHEP Outpost are donated to the CHEP, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering homeless Veterans and people in need.

The CHEP Outpost is more than just a retail store—it's a hub for real, lasting impact!

Operated by Chesapeake Health Education Program (CHEP), the Outpost transforms donated goods into support for Veterans and community members in need. Through affordable retail sales, job training opportunities, volunteer engagement, and environmental stewardship, we help fund transitional housing, food access programs, and supportive services.

Every purchase, every donation, and every hour volunteered directly supports our mission to empower those who have served and support individuals and families as they work toward stability and a better future.

While volunteer needs can change depending on the day, there are always volunteer opportunities here at the Outpost. Our volunteers:

·       Sort and organize donations

·       Help with store maintenance and cleaning

·       Serve at our community events

·       Gain valuable experience
