Who We Are
We are an environmental nonprofit located in Cecil County, Maryland.
Our organization is dedicated to practicing, promoting, and enabling the conservation of nature through sustainable practices.
What We Do
The High 5 Initiative sets out to create paths to allow our community to be good environmental stewards. We arrange cleanups, do water quality testing with The Alliance for the Bay where Rock Run meets the Susquehanna River and have adopted Rock Run Road through Cecil County's adopt-a-road program. We also educate the community at many local events.
Since 2020, with the help of hundreds of amazing local residents, we have removed about 50,000 pounds of debris from the riparian areas of the North East, Elk and Susquehanna Rivers. You can find upcoming cleanups posted here.
