Volunteer Cecil is a great resource for discovering ways to engage your employees in service to local non-profits that will benefit the employees' lives, the agencies they serve, and your company's productivity.

  • Have your interested workers sign up for a Volunteer Cecil account as a volunteer, and then we can create a team or help to match them up with needs.  Just go to: VOLUNTEERCECIL.ORG and click SIGN UP.

  • Don't register as an organization or agency - that's for those who are looking for volunteer help, not those who are able to provide volunteer help. 

 

  • Can you grant your employees some paid work time to work on a cause that is important to them? Volunteer Cecil can help

  • Do you want to provide a Day-of-Service to an agency? Volunteer Cecil can assist with the coordination and registration

  • Are you in a position to make an in-kind or monetary donation? Volunteer Cecil can help you identify the local needs

 

Suggestions for Success

1. Decide what causes are most closely related to your business or ask your employees to choose which local non-profits mean the most to them. Be sure to recognize your employees for their service to the community at your annual events.

2. Consider offering the local non-profits a discount on your services. It's a great way to show them you care!

3. Advertise Volunteer Cecil in your company's newsletter or intranet communication network
