Description

The historic Gas House in Port Deposit has been restored for a new Visitor Center and Towson University Research and Education Center and turtle habitat for the study of the Northern Map Turtle! We are seeking volunteers to work in the Visitor Center.  If you love history and like meeting new people, please consider our opportunity.

The Visitor Center is open Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and open to the public from May through September.  We would consider partial days and training will be provided.

*UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 the Visitor Center is closed for the season.  If you are interested in volunteering when the center does re-open or are interested in other ways you can help please contact Town Hall at Townhall@portdeposit.org or call (410) 378-2121.
