Who We Are
Head Start and Early Head Start programs support the comprehensive development of children from birth to age 5 in a variety of ways, aiming to lift families out of generational poverty and into self-sufficiency.
What We Do
Education: Teachers create learning experiences to promote children’s school readiness. Through age-appropriate instruction, relationships, and play, children develop language and literacy skills, social and emotional health, and early academic concepts.
Family well-being: Families receive support in achieving their own goals, such as stable housing, further education, and financial security. Programs also work to strengthen parent-child relationships and engage families in children’s development and learning.
